Built on an island 15 minutes away by boat to the southwest of Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, this house is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city while being strategically positioned to be an enclave of peace and luxury on your own private paradise island. 

The project is inspired by the idea of a relaxed beach house - or rather a lagoon house - while providing luxurious but uncomplicated open spaces. The uninterrupted spans of open plan living are created by cutting-edge engineering much the same as used in bridge design today. The house offers a spectacular view of the lagoon, with generous openings built to blur the boundaries between the inside and outside, spilling out directly onto the water for a unique design.
